The food here was pretty good, the service was great, but the atmosphere was only ok. We had the Spinach and Tomato Lavash appetizer and the Hot Brown pizza. The Lavash was ok and the pizza was very good. The decor was an eclectic attempt at Mardi Gras.
We came in from out of town and decided to have dinner and wanted to try the Hot Brown so we found this restaurant. It did not disappoint. But we also had the Crab Cakes (excellent), Gumbo (excellent) , Jambalaya (excellent), cheese pizza (My son said it is one of the best he’s ever had), banana pudding (excellent), She Crab Soup (very good) and the shrimp and grits (phenomenal). Literally everything this restaurant makes is top tier. I haven’t had food this good in a long time. Thanks for the great experience!!
One of the best places around to get pretty tasty cajun and italian food. Definitely recommend their desserts. I don't think I've ever ate a better banana pudding, and the crem brulee is rich and smokey. 100% recommend
We had lunch there. The place was really clean. It got crowded quick, this is the kind of place where you need to visit more than one time so that you can try a lot on the menu there were three of us we had the lasagna, pizza, and hot brown. The person Who had the hot brown said it was one of the best she’s ever had. The lasagna was good and the pizza was good. We will definitely be back. Our waiter was super. It was a great experience.
Ordered take-out/pick-up. There were a few at the bar. It was close to closing time Quiet atmosphere inside. Friendly staff. Food was ready on time. Ordered a deep dish pizza. Sauce is a bit tangier than I like but it was still a good pizza. Fresh, hot, made exactly as ordered. Crust was crispy.
We went for lunch on Valentine’s Day. We had a short wait but it was well worth it. I had the black bean and sausage soup, hot and spicy, perfect! Served with warm crusty bread. My husband had his favorite- shrimp and grits! We were recently in Florida and the shrimp and grits there were greasy and not as creamy. Lou Lou’s shrimp and grits are the best, absolutely delicious.
Hot Brown was AMAZING, along with the service. I would highly recommend this place for food. The atmosphere was very casual and prices were reasonable.
